MOYER (nee Duffy), Maura (late of Swansnest, Kilbarrack and formerly Aughavannagh Road, Crumlin), who passed away March 8, 2009. Rest in peace Maura's sons David, Paul and Brian, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters and brothers wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad and great loss. All those who attended the Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial. Thanks to those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes and those who donated to either The Irish Cancer Society or The Beaumont Hospital Foundation, all those who travelled from Australia, Canada and England to be with us at this sad time. To all our wonderful neighbours and friends for their kindness and support - it will be long remembered. A big thank you to Fr. Dave Lumsden who made the Funeral Service so personal and for his moving tribute to Maura which she richly deserved. Thanks to Dr. Patrick Forde, nurses and staff of St. Clare's Ward, Prof. Sam McConkey, Dr. Justin and their teams and all at Beaumont Hospital for their wonderful care and support. To Naomh Barróg GAA Club for the use of their fabulous facilities. Grateful thanks to the staff of Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Kilbarrack for all their help. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. Maura's Months Mind Mass will be held April 4, 2009 at 7pm. in St. Benedict's Church, Grange Park.

  • Maura, Great Sister, Sister-in-law and friend

Maura was a friend of mine for 60 years, not only that she was my sister-in-law. Maura ,Eilish & I spent many happy hours together and the memories that we shared were to numerous to mention. She had a wicked sence of humour and always saw the funny side of life. She wasn't perfect. but lets face it how many of us are. I know that I am not. My family and friend over here in England loved her. Our neighbours too loved to chat to her. Our girls and their families thought the world of her. She really is missed. It was a pleasure to have known her. Good Night & God Bless Maura. Sweet dreams.

Loving sister Eilish, Keith & Family
