Dearest Madeleine, Colm, Jane, Marina, Jane, Aidan and all of your spouses and children and nieces and nephews.....

There are FEW families that understand the importance of eachother's growth as individuals as do the Meylers.

I am proud to be a part of your extended American family. Leo was a wonderful part of my life and a joy to all who knew him. He felt deeply for all around him. I really loved Leo.

I felt his love, and I'm sure that all who knew him felt it, too. I remember him most as "they mayor of Wexford". Ironically, the Coen's live in "Wexford Leas" in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA.

When parents encourage and enrich the lives of their children and theirs, without judgement or disapproval, then they can all blossom and succeed and put forth their own talents and ideals.

Leo was a proponent of talents and ideals. Whether or not he shared those ideals, he loved and supported the talents and ideals of those he knew and loved.

His wife, children, and grandchildren, were all he needed to fuel his love for life and his never-ending interest in the natural world, which he held dear, and somewhat secreted to his heart.

I'm proud, but so very sad, to offer my deepest condolences to my dear family across the pond.

I love you all, as you all been so very good to me. I feel so close to you all and wish we could be closer to one another.

    Bless you all,

Laura Coen and all the Coens in America,
