CONNOLLY (Ghearies, Bantry and formerly of Drinagh, Co. Cork) Aug. 4, 2009, (peacefully), at Bantry General Hospital, after an illness bravely borne, Freddie, beloved husband of Niamh (nee Sullivan), loving father of Patrick, Bridget, Eric, Oisín, Fergal and Shane, dear brother of Michael, Neilius, Catherine, Mary, James, Bridget and Teresa; sadly missed by his loving family, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Removal today (Wednesday) at 7 o'c. from Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry to St. Patrick's Church, Rusnacahara, Ahakista. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 2 o'c. Funeral afterwards to the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.

    To my dear friend Niamh,

    I just found out from Steven Fitzgerald about Freddie. Niamh, I am so so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the boys and the rest of his family. If there is anything, I mean anything please do not hesitate to call. My sincerest sympathies Niamh. My love to the boys.

    Freddie will be remembered during Sunday mass and prayers to the family.
