CARR Fr. James (Jimmy) Carr, S.M., (late of Donore Avenue and Fanad, Co. Donegal), died Oct. 31, 2008 Jimmy's brother Eddie, his sister Catherine, sister-in-law Grace, his extended family and friends and the Marist Community, would like to thank all who sympathised with them on his sudden death. We would like to thank the many people who called to the house and all who attended Jimmy's Funeral Mass and burial. Sincere thanks to Archbishop Martin, Bishop Fiachra O'Ceallaigh for their presence, to the many priests and religious who attended the funeral, above all to the wonderful parishoners of St. Teresa's, Donore Avenue who paid such a wonderful tribute to Fr. Jimmy, we were overwhelmed by your kindness. To the residents of St. Teresa's Gardens for the beautiful flowers, to all involved in the Funeral Mass for Jimmy which was a great consolation to us. The Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, the Ushers, to Gerry, Ross and Noel in the Sacristy, Darren Murray for the lovely Mass Booklet and to all who prepared the Church for the occasion, Sr. Maureen and Senior Choir, the Choir from Scoil Treasa Naofa and Presentation Secondary School, Warrenmount. To Mary O'Reilly, Paul Humphrey, Noel O'Rourke, Dessie Martin, Bob and Madge Murphy for their kindness. To Kay and Peter Lee for their hospitality. To John McCormack from the Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service for his support and help. Neal Massey and the staff of Rom Massey's, Dolphins Barn, especially Mark, Paul, James and Paul who looked after the arrangements for Jimmy's funeral with great respect and sensitivity. Fr. Martin Doohan and the neighbours and friends who made the long journey from Fanad to be with us in Donore Avenue for the Funeral Mass. Fr. Pat McGarvey who was such a support to the family. We will be forever grateful for your kindness.
