MOYER (nee Duffy) Maura First Anniversary.

The tears in our eyes are not always seen,

Our faces are not always sad,

But it doesn't mean we've forgotten,

What a wonderful Mom we had.

A million times we've needed you,

A million times we've cried,

If love alone could have saved you Mom,

You never would have died.

The things we took for granted,

Are treasured memories now,

But with you watching over us,

We'll get along somehow.

A silent tear falls gently,

Which others do not see,

For a wonderful mother,

Who meant the world to us.

Loving you always, your sons David, Paul and Brian. xxx

Of all the gifts in life,

However great or small,

To have had you as a Nanny,

Was the greatest gift of all.

Sadly missed by Erica, Connor, Daniel, Tiarnán and Caislín.

  • Maura, Great Sister, Sister-in-law and friend

    Maura was a friend of mine for 60 years, not only that she was my sister-in-law. Maura ,Eilish & I spent many happy hours together and the memories that we shared were to numerous to mention. She had a wicked sence of humour and always saw the funny side of life. She wasn't perfect. but lets face it how many of us are. I know that I am not. My family and friend over here in England loved her. Our neighbours too loved to chat to her. Our girls and their families thought the world of her. She really is missed. It was a pleasure to have known her. Good Night & God Bless Maura. Sweet dreams.

    Mom,

    You may be gone, but your always with me. I carry you in my heart and my mind every day! You walk with me, you talk with me, you come to me in my dreams and you guide my way through life. Your love, strength and guidance you showed us through tough times will will help us carry on.

    I really, really miss you Mom. The hurt and the pain of losing you has still not gone. People say it gets better with time! But they don't understand.

    I did not just loose a wonderful Mother that day. I lost my Mother and Father. You had to take on the role of both parents when we were so young.

    I am still in Awe at how you did this by your self. I did not know how strong you were till I got older and could understand.

    Mom, words could not say enough to thank you!

    Missing you so much.
