  • Paul's old North London Friends

To Paul's family - we were very sad to hearof Paul's death. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Paul will always have a special place in our hearts. Not only did he introduce a group of Irish students ,nurses etc to 'Irish Electric Folk Music'and all that entailed, but he was a warm, decent, generous man with a big sense of humour.

We'revery pleased he realised his dreamof living in Clare surrounded by his family and friends.

    From

Mary,Terry, Davidand all those who enjoyed Paul's friendship.

  • Our Paul

I knew Paul all my life for I am one of his younger brothers. He had so many passions. He discovered the Irish fiddle in North London's folk scene and it was this passion that led him to his happy life with Josephine and his three children in West Clare. He was filled with energy and goodness and touched so many people's lives. The people of Kilfenora, Ennistymon and beyond gave him the best imaginable "send off". I thank them so much for that. Our parents - Philip and Doreen would have been overwhelmed by the loveliness of that farewell.
